What to do/Where to go
|
If
you're new to Bethel, the center of town on Greenwood Avenue is a great place to start. In
this charming, historic and community-oriented village you will find a number of shops,
several cafés and delis (Jacqueline's and O'Neil's are long-time favorites), the library,
restaurants and the coffee shop Molten Java, where people play scrabble or chess, work on
their laptops, lead book groups, have meetings, or play with their kids, while sipping the
beverage of their choice. You can walk to the Bethel Municipal Center, which offers
concerts on the lawn in the summer and myriad activities for children, seniors and others
inside the building during the year.
Many (but not all) of our current listings are for families. We will soon have singles,
couples listings, hiking and cycling trails and more.
